Amandeep Singh Malhotra is a full stack web developer with over 4 years of industry experience in developing apps on the Angular/Java Spring/MariaDB stack. He has also gained experience in developing RPA apps on Blue Prism. Currently, Amandeep is working as a Software Development Engineer II at PayPal. Previously, Amandeep worked as a Full Stack Engineer and Robotics Engineer at Barclays. In his role as a Full Stack Engineer, he contributed to building E2E solution design in 2 projects, designed and created DB schema on MariaDB, developed RESTful APIs using Spring MVC framework on Java, wrote tests using JUnit's Jupiter framework, packaged and deployed builds on Docker, and supported projects in warranty period and defect fixing as and when required. As a Robotics Engineer, Amandeep was involved in the delivery of end-to-end process automation of existing redundant back-office processes at Barclays using Blue Prism. His role included creating a design for robust and scalable solutions, documenting design into Solution Design Document, writing readable and maintainable code using best practices recommended by Blue Prism, conducting multiple proof of concepts for checking tech feasibility of automation of an application, taking ownership of leading vendor partners as resources for project development, code review of project development by peers, debugging existing live projects developed by fellow developers for fixing production issues, and being involved in requirement gathering sessions for a deeper understanding of the automation solution. Amandeep completed his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology in 2017 and his High School education from Wynberg-Allen School, Mussoorie in 2011.
